Clarinetist Kari Kriikku performs short pieces of Jewish klezmer, Portuguese fado and Arab music, together with the Tapiola Sinfonietta under Jan Söderblom. The eclectic program of his Ondine (ODE 1140-2) album "Bizarre Bazaar" also features Argentinean tango and is available in stores April 28, 2009.

  • @KlarinetUK Did you ever get reply? the name of the album is "Bizarre Bazaar". ask your local dealer or library to look into it. there are other similar pieces there as well.

  • I don´t even know how many loved ones i have given this wonderful CD to. If it does not wake you up, you´re dead. So varied, such humor, such exquisite musicality, so many surprises and on top of everything - beautifully compiled. These are just 3 shortened version of some of the pieces on the CD. If you make music like this, you certainly have not lived in vain! Thank you, Kari Kriikku and everyone involved, is the least I can say.
