  • Great review and thanks for posting. I've been looking at these tents for a while based on my existing canvas tent having a center pole. I've had it 11 years now and never had a problem with it - and it folds into a neat square for roof racks or inside the car. Guess I'll stay with what I've got for now as I can't see the cost benefit.. Hope you see some wonderful sights with your OZTent, they would definitely be what I'd buy now if I was stepping up from the old igloo tents. Cheers.

  • great review. I am looking at the rv3 for myself.

  • @chas4551 How much!?! - over a grand for it? - I totally agree for that kind of money it should be perfect in every way and from what this guy says it seems far from it.

    Peace

  • I'm considering the same setup (RV3, deluxe side panels and front panel), and found this video/review REALLY helpful, thanks.

I'm surprised that there are problems with joins/leaks. Thanks for pointing out these problems. You've definitely given me something to think about..

  • Great video mate, thanks for going to the effort.

I have just purchased my RV3 and pick up next week.

  • Great review! In fact so good I've decided NOT to buy one! For over a grand with all the addons I don't think you should having ANY problems with poles, leaks, joins or fitting beds in. Thanks for review saved me buying what appears to be an expensive pain in the ass.

  • Video is well done, Thanks! Always good to get an outside source for a review, such as a satisfied customer. If your looking to purchase within the USA visit our website OzTent.us for a full selection of OzTent products including the New Jet Tent.

  • Thanks for the tour. I'm considering this tent myself. I know the main tent is 2.4m wide x 2m deep. What's the awning space with the peaked sidewalls in place? And what sort of wind speed would you be comfortable with in this tent - I'd like to stick it on the beach where I could get a sea breeze running in at 20 knots or so. (although I could use my van as a bit of shelter for it).

    Cheers - John.
