@mariodelmindo i did hear the corner and they did tell him to follow tha plan as they did in round 1, i speak spanish and whatever the commentators or translators are saying most of the times is not exact. There was a game plan, because i personally know the camp people, but Cotto saw round 1 as an indicator and decided to exchange in round 2 and was winning till he got caught. the plan was to box for 6 rounds and then exchange, also to set a trap with the uppercuts when Manny jumps in.

Well that was cottos big pay day and beside when he fought joshua clottey his weight is 146 1 lb is not a big problem. cotto fight is like a conditioning fight for pacquiao if he can handle welter weight class.

yea right but before the pacman cotto fight everybody was saying ahh cotto is gonna blow pacman away. he has no chance of winning. cotto all the way and now we hear people saying cotto never really beat any elite welterweight that's why he's beat by pacman. come on guys dont be souring the grape here. he lost fair and square on what they agreed upon the contract. they fought with everything they got. please respect both fighters. thank u losers

pac wanted to test the waters againts a real welterweight in cotto by going for a catchweight. now that he found he could handle it its 147 all the way. he is not crazy jumping in without testin the water first. .
