Ray can sing this now for all the young soldiers coming back fucked up in the head from useless wars that have made the 1% richer and the 99% poorer.

It's true though, not everyone thanks the troops and such; and some curse them, which is beyond me. I don't think anyone could argue with the positive message this video puts forth. So in my own words, THANK YOU!!!

I was around during Viet Nam, and this beautiful video always brings me to tears. Last year I sent it to a friend who had served in Vietnam, he thanked me profusely and said no one else had ever thanked him for serving or even remembered he had served. Please share this with all the Veterans you know, especially those from the Vietnam era, send it as a Christmas gift to a Veterans hospital. Thank you Ray Stevens

The citizens of American who take up arms against our enemies are often appreciated the least! Why is this? We owe the most to so few! Our citizens must join the fight and support our military members and families! We must fight the gutting of our defense budget and give our troops the equipment they need to win! Thankyou. Thank You, Mr Ray Stevens, thank you soooo much. My only child, my son is serving proudly in the USAF. He's ready to kick ass. He tells me that he get's "thank you's" all the time & he feels he doesn't deserve it yet. I tell him he's MY hero & all the brave men & women that serve for the USA.
