@Kylebristow I dont know the tab, so im just gonna stick with sayin this
The blues is pure emotion poured through the guitar. there is no right way to do it. If your talking about the lead parts, i heavily doubt Wolf/Sumlin planned what he was playing. Just learn the pentatonic, and once your familiar with it, close your eyes and let it all flow. besides, once you know the pentatonic, it will be easy to tab, but you probably wont need it then

who didn't like this? oh i guess the back door man must had been over their house last week.
This is from the THE HOWLIN WOLF ALBUM. It's the last track on the album and is either the best or second best on the album. The band -- I've always heard called the Electric Mud Cats. It was recorded in 1969 as kind of a sequel to Muddy Waters album from the previous year, Electric Mud.
On another note, if you like this track, check out "Built For Comfort" from the same album. In my opinion it is THE FUNKIEST song I've EVER heard! I play it on the jukebox at the bar I work at every night.

@Dalgobitches This seems to be answer to my question, thank you ! I've been avoiding those late albums, but now it seems, that they are worth listening.

This aint a chess recording, i'd say it's some sort of ail star jam, recorded late sixties. The drummer is definitely not one of the chess regulars, he does far too much.
still, it's a good version

@gcd93 Hard to believe. This old cd from mid '80s is distributed by very reliable record company. BUT, you have to remember, that great Howlin' was in fact first artist at Chess with his earlier masters leased from Sam Phillips AND he was loyal to company until it fell down in the beginning of '70s.
So, I really think this is Chess recording, but when it has been recorded, that's the question ! And I'm on the same opinion, version is very good.
