This is beautiful - my favorite video of yours. I have to thank you for introducing me to this amazing guitarist! I've been listening thanks to you. If you don't mind me asking... How do you learn his songs? By ear I'm assuming? And one more thing, what tuning is this one in? Thanks!

@BottomlessPotamus Most of the Kottke tunes I've tackled I have learned from a transcription published by John Stropes (google stropes editions) John Stropes and his students at UWM Milwaukee produce these highly accurate printed works. This tune is in standard tuning but my guitar in this video is tuned a half step down.
