N900 plays AVI

thats one of the best resolutions that I have seen on mobile phone devices. Can you play a HD (720p or above) video and see how good it performs on rendering the HD video?

@alfistasubbie unfortunately i cant for two reasons. a) most of the HD files are in mkv-format, which the N900 does not support and b) i dont have the Device anymore, as it was only a test device. sorry

what did you do to get the N900 to play AVI? what decoder did you download

how's the battery life?

@fepposaurus well, nokia-typical average. i get around 12 Hours with it, with 3G switched off, but online on Edge/WLAN

@morlin88 its support alot of video for n900

.mp4, .avi, .wmv, .3gp; codecs: H.264, MPEG-4, Xvid, WMV, H.263. yea maybe yours is broken.

ok so you just trasfer it from the pc and it shuld work? Since I hav't manage to get to work but perhaps the files I have tried has been broken
