Funny if Liberal Arts professors seem to be so well educated why are they so easily defeated in debates? Well educational institutions tend to have a left bias anyway. Then again, conservatism is founded on fact not feel good policy. I know many reformed lefties that say they used to be liberal before they became educated.

Where are they easily defeated in debates. Lets see some facts for once.

Conservatism is founded on facts? Let's examine some "conservative" positions/facts. Homosexuality is wrong because God says so, stem cell research is playing with "human" life, everyone doesn't have the right to basic health care, marijuana is dangerous, pro three strikes laws, mandatory minimum sentencing (over-crowded jails), and anti-minimum wage legislation.

Is this really a party you want to be associated with?

perhaps those are someones ideas. i just think we ought to kill some people. stem cell research is plating with the sanctity of innocent life, marijuana IS dangerous, getting shitheads who break laws off the street is hugely important. minimum wage is a joke designed to help some socialist agendas run along rampantly, and dont you dare group all of us together with our congressmen, no one ever said they think what we do.

You sound pretty similar to all your republican congressman. Yeah, using goo in a beaker to cure deadly diseases is messing with the "sanctity of life?" Tell that to the cancer patients and those with muscular dystrophy. Cramming non-violent drug offenders in jail is not helping anyone (20%+, non-violent drug offenders). Also, making sure people make the extreme wage of $5.15 an hour sounds crazy to me?

Well socio progressive we are sliding to socialism, nationalization of the financial institutions, auto industry, now the heath care system what is next? Tech sector? The government is switching away from an individual rights model and moving toward regulating every thing

The only big thing that they are actually regulating is health care? What a horrible thing. Helping poor people who can't afford to go to a doctor. Damn government.

It was the damn republicans who wanted to bail out those greedy insurance companies. The real liberals said screw them. Republicans always go socialist when capitalism fails. Hence, bailing out the financial industry (taking tax dollars)!

We can sure bail out the financial companies with our money, but not give us all health care?
