Highland Lakes Water Helps Sustain Environment

Water from the Highland Lakes helps maintain fish and wildlife habitat in the Colorado River and Matagorda Bay. LCRA's Water Management Plan determines when and how much of that water is sent downstream for the environment. That plan is being updated, and several environmental groups have come to the table to help with the process.
