Contrary to what it may seem like, you don't lose XP when enemies flee. There were 5 bats in one of the groups you fought, and at the end of the fight you got 375 XP.

75x5=375.

@MorganGamerPoet - I know that, I was talking about if they flee while still being in the reinforcement count.

i.e. "Enemy Reinforcements flee"

I also rather have a dead enemy, I gives me a satisfying feeling getting all those bastards.
