Nothing compared to Renee joining CTU after being fired by the FBI; not to mention Bauer being stabbed 3 times in the same part of his chest in one day. Yeah Right!
U.S. is having a peace treaty signed between two other countries in one day?Yeah Right!
The Gov't operations were not any less poorly coordinated than in previous seasons (Plus it proves how inferior they are w/o Jack's help).
Bauer always did implausible stuff & some politicians do get elected despite flawed records (Bush, Obama)

The bald dude turned out to be Jack's brother? Yeah right
Jack's father was a villain too? Yeah right
Audrey Raines is dead? Yeah right (seriously, was there ANYONE who wasn't just waiting for the episode in wich they "revealed" she was actually alive?)
Although I have to say, the first four episodes had some INSANE moments (SPOILERS AHEAD. A nuke actually going off, Jack ripping out that guy's throat and, of course, Jack killing Curtis)

Jack is brought back after 18 months in captivity and he's got the energy to be running and shooting for 24 hours? Yeah right
Jack agrees to be sacrificed without the slightest complain for not having been rescued before? Yeah right
Fayed tells the government where Assad is and they immediately send two choppers to blow the place without making sure he is there? Yeah right
Wayne Palmer is president? YEAH F***ING RIGHT

Everyone hates S6 because many of their favorite character died & the storyline was rushed. At least Bauer didn't have an idiotic SWAT team . . .
I also hated S6 at first but like all the seasons, there's so much that you miss on the first viewing that makes it worth rewatching.
The first five are 10/10 Stars followed by S7 which is an 8/10.
S8 borrows too many superior twists from S4 that were ONLY amazing the first time.
Plus, Renee & President Taylor became unlikeable & it was predictable.

@WatchMyAwesomeVideos I think your on drugs, especially if you thought this season was weaker than the awful Season 6, this is easily in the top 4 or 5 of seasons.
