  • Fascinating, intricate work. Do you take projects by mail? What's your website?

  • Hi, and thanks for the kind words. Google The Gilded Leaf: Fine Bookbinding for our website. We are, of course, happy to take in projects via the mail but hope you'll be able to visit the shop!

  • @noshinchan Where is the shop? Can I see more samples? I'm out of state.

  • We're in Eastern Tennessee, in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. We've added a blog with more pictures (haven't figured out how to edit the website) at (I'll have to spell it out because I don't think YouTube allows me to link a website) the 3 Dubya thing, gildedleafbindery.blogspot with a dot com afterward.

  • Hey! I live in Tennessee (Fort Campbell) and I'm very interested in book binding. Where do you get your supplies?

  • Hi. I get materials in from all over. Nothing in Tennessee, though I occasionally visit the art supply shops to look. Let me know what you're after and I may be able to suggest a source.

  • Please post more videos. Very interested to see a step by step of repairing a book.

  • OMG! That last book is so beautiful!!

Im gonna copy its design to my next book!

    :D

Do you even know... that if the Germans had won WWII, you would most probably have been part of the 1st Class SS (Elite of the Elite).

You are what they called "Teutonische" = Blond from the hair roots. Thats even above being "Aryan". AND you have picked up an old trade, wich the National Socialists loved. They where verry conservative, and they had worshipped you.

(No im not a nazi, i just love European History).
