@pirrostsakas evidently all you've heard of Yes is Owner of a Lonely Heart if you think they're straight 4/4 I-IV-V. Victor Wooten? You're funny. My point was that a pick can be used for dynamics (which is why Squire uses one) or speed, not as a cop-out. There's much more to bass playing than some kid on youtube's preconceptions on how a bassist 'should' play, and I fail to see how you're qualified to judge who is and is not a 'real musician'

@PKATrain Why would i consider Chris Squire a good bassplayer. Check out some real musicians that play bass like vicror wooten, Jaco pastorius, Matt garison , john reshard etc etc. I think u r stuck to the same old 4/4 beat , 1-4-5 chord progresion of old rockers. Music is much more than that and no squire is not qualified imho.Hes just another jerk like this one ! thank yoy
