  • i like it when there are SAFETY GATE for it...avoiding children accidently fell on rail-road

  • nice video! no suprise 2 see the crowded subways!

  • even if they do that all someone has to do is climb over the shields...unless they build them connected to the ceiling.

but i dont think that would reduce the amount of suicides since there are so many different, easier and less painful ways to kill yourself.

did you hear about the korean actress who hung herself??

  • Wow You Rule, I Love It

  • Oh, by then I understand the situation...

but i think it would be better by raising the shield a little bit so that an adult finds it hard to cross/jump over the shields.

  • conductors have to make sure that no one or nothing is between the platform screens and the train. they'll check from higher elevation to make sure that everything is clear. screens are for preventing accidents and "also" suicides.

in Shanghai, China, some man was trapped between the screens and the train, and he was crushed by the train, thank you very much.

    (Shanghai have full protection shields)

  • It is interesting to see that the protection shields do not fully cover the platform but only by half. If someone jumps onto the track intentionally, the shield cannot prevent such suicide..Why don't they just build shields covering the whole platform with the use transparent materials?

  • I think JR East will lost about 10-15% of the customer on Tokyo Loop line which series E231-500 is running on ^o^

  • ohh yeah this is that new one that goes to ikebukuro...shinjuku...shibuya..
