Obscure Game Theater - 3D World Runner - NES

I don't think this game is actually that obscure, but I'm trying to keep my titles consistent. ;)

Mode7 is a function that was introduced with the SNES and needed a special chip. This game here uses a standard 3D effect with zooming, pixelated sprites that was common for that time, any car racing game used the same effect.

I can't figure out what to do in World 6-1. there is an extremely long jump, and pillars (to maybe jump onto) but I can't figure out how to land on them right. If anyone knows this trick...please fill me in.

If I remember correctly, you need to make sure not to press the directional (up) after you 'jump onto' the pillars. While you're bounding on top of the pillars they should be perfectly spaced out at a distance equal to go the distance that you would go without speeding yourself up by pressing the up button. Then all you should need to do is press the left or right button to line yourself up with the pillars
