@turbofritz2 You should also look into Dennis Kucinich. He's the Ron Paul of the Democrats; but obviously much more amazing (since he's not a republican).
-
@damoninsky Yeah you're right - we agree opun that.
The establishment wants no change.
I don't know too much on Nader to say anything..
There is for sure an establishment and the media (neither in US or in Europe) would support an alternative view on things even if it could be better for mankind.
-
@turbofritz2 You're right, he is different, and this is what makes him appealing. However, I don't support several of his main areas of concern. Nader is also very, VERY much hated. Ron Paul definitely would create REAL change, however not necessarily the BEST change. I prefer Nader over Paul...but personally, I don't think we'll ever get anyone who wants real change elected.

@damoninsky I know i don't know whole lot of american politics aside from the policicians who have been front runners in the natonal elections.
Ron Paul on the other hand is diffrent. Hated by the establishment loved by the people and has credibility and will bring REAL change.
-
@turbofritz2 Wow, you obviously don't know much about American politics if you don't know who Nader is. Go look up Ralph Nader.
-
@turbofritz2 No. The amount of money spent on science and NASA is pennies compared to Military and Health. If we didn't invest in science technology, then we wouldn't have cell phones, internet, satellites, etc...It's actually GOOD to invest in knowledge.
-
@turbofritz2 Once again, marijuana is NOT the problem. If anything he should make ALL drugs legal. His ideals at making this country better will only be slight. We need someone WAY more progressive and caring. It doesn't matter that he helped people voluntarily, all doctors do at some point. Right now, he admitted it, that he doesn't care, they are on their own for survival. TOTally immoral.
-
@turbofritz2 Better educated hmm, maybe because your education system is SOCIALIZED! It's payed for through taxes. How many hundreds of thousands of people are in debt due to college tuition? And HEALTH CARE! You don't think being healthy or not being in debt your entire life plays a role in happiness here? If you have a surgery in the U.S. and aren't insured, you'll easily own $50,000. Nobody can afford that. In debt, the rest of their lives. 44,000 people die each year without insurance
-
@damoninsky excuse me. who is Nader?
-
@damoninsky All of those things can be founded privatly and by vulentary action!!
NASA - well they wasted alot of money would you invest in some guy going to the moon? what did you get out of it? While your goverment did that they could for example invested it in new energy sources or farming technologies that would have advenced human kind!!
@damoninsky - look. you keep your ideology and judgements and I'll keep my common sense.

@TheRacistsMustDie The way we are "best in care" is the fact that we are able to perform the most difficult procedures, using the most modern technology. If one needed certain brain surgeries or certain organ transplants, one would definitely want to come to the U.S. So the U.S. is better for helping the few, but not the many. The U.S. simply wastes billions by having the middleman of insurance companies rule and letting Big Pharma charge outrageous prices.
