Just saw it today, and it's a really good movie.
My only complaint is that the ending seems way too abbrupt. Like it doesn't really end, it just stops. Besides that, thought, it's great.

"An American Werewolf in London...something different..."
You can tell the studios were clueless as to how market a horror movie from a comedy director.

I really love this film! I saw it at my friend's house durring halloween. it was pretty funny untill the ending of the film. besides that Ithis film rocks.

The original Wolf Man is simply brilliant and is still entertaining even today. The new version could have been incredible, but they went overboard on the CGI and the film's pace was far too impatient.

@SamusDrake Forgot The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney.

@TheDurhampower1 Yeah sorry about that, lol. I just would of liked too of seen David kinda like Jacks character, in that he's dead and no one can see him, except Alex and his offspring. lol.

@hulkster46a kinda sound like similar to the fly 2 of what you're refering to
I watched this film again yesterday for the first time in ages - I still absolutely love it as much as I did in the 80's (i'm 36) and i'm also amazed at how well the special effects have stood the test of time (espeically the transformation scene). Reminded what a honey Jenny Agutter was in this as well :P
Next...an Evil Dead marathon methinks :)

OMG. I am 41 and have never seen this movie, I feel awful. Make sure to catch David on Friday nights episode of Psych. It's a tribute to An American Werewolf in London. Oct. 9th, 9 p.m. central. John Landis has even directed some Psych episodes, not sure if he's doing this one.
