This is a series of videos on dedicated Pong systems including the ones from Atari. There were dozens of these made thoughout the world in the 1970s to early 1980s. You can see what the systems look like, what the paddles look like and even get to see the artwork on the boxes. Sense they are pretty close to one another and a lot came out in a short period, I am not going to rate these, just review them. This was a special time in video game history that is long game. At least thee videos help preserve the games for others to see. Please rate and comment as I do not get paid to do this.

  • The fact that there were so many pong consoles is already scary... but to think that Magnavox made FOUR of them?! xD Were they out of their minds?

  • @dzibanszi Magnavox made more than 4. I think they made 9 of them with 8 being released. Then philips released 3 of their own before purchasing magnavox in 1974.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos Yeah, I know that, but even just the four of them is more than enough.

  • @supernorst It's not cheating if both players can do it and is part of the intended gameplay. The whole point was to provide more challenge between two players.

  • I bought one of these at a yard sale and it was missing the box, I just stuck some batteries in it and taped a coaxial jack at the end and it works.

  • Interesting. Another great vid, you are really helping to preserve this classic gaming history, man I wish I was aware of all the systems and had the money to indulge in them while growing up lol!

  • doesnt seem like a bad system, the only thing i dont like is that you can cheat by moving the ball.

  • Back in the 1970s , everyone was wasted, so nothing mattered

  • great review Biff

  • lol, you we're quite disappointed with this Pong system.
