@TwistedSister09 the real Jerry gave up her baby in 1962..they added ten years to the movie Jerry's story..back then, young mothers--especially unwed, so-called incorrigible young mothers--had little or no options available to them..what a sad irony this story was..

@The1stTaskIsDragons Don't you agree that they should NOT have been able to adopt those four other kids that they did in the '70s?? Those kids went through absolute torture in that home until they escaped to the neighbor's house..one of the social workers that was preparing the adoption had serious reservations about it, but they overrode her...just because there was a shortfall of foster and adoptive homes and they felt pressure to place the kids..thank heaven that these kids were older!!

@bunkieb00 I did a law school report on this case back in early 2010 - as far as my report partner and I could figure out, Lois is still alive. What a twisted piece of work that woman is.
