@zalowery UGA lost in front of the entire nation too bro ha...it wass nationally on CBS. and the 1st place loser, LSU, and Alabama were a lot better than everyone else last yr. They split the series 1-1, and would have beaten down on anyone else they played besides one another.
-
@zalowery winners don't make excuses like awful officiating(which it was) we just win. Are you trying to sat UGA is a 1 dimensional offense and that's why you lost to LSU this year? I honestly am speechless at the thought of that.
-
@zalowery I don't agree with that at all. We went 13-1, won the SEC west outright and the SEC championship(easily I might add). I don't think most people would comsider that a failure. Your team went 10-4(a nice season), Lost the SEC title game, and lost a lower level bowl game. Ole Miss went 2-10, lost every SEC game, fired their coach, and obviously didn't get a bowl bid. How can you possibly consider the 3 teams to have had the same level of success this year? You're delusional.

@gasperoutdoors How many times does LSU score in 15 seconds? Whats the probablity that they score that quick on every drive? I doubt its a consistent thing. Therefore, it was a fluke. If LSU has scoring drives that are an average of 15 seconds then i'll admit that LSU just straight up beat down Uga. but I know that that's not the case. Yeah LSU whooped us this year. But you lost in front of the whole nation. 1st place losers are no better than all the losers behind them.

@gasperoutdoors Good officiating. they a beat a one dimensional offense. UGA lacked depth in key areas on the defensive line too. They got tired and they couldnt stay off the field bc the offense kept going three and out bc they had scout running backs in the game.Pro style offenses need both to be decent.. But for one half when everyone was fresh, Lsu didn't get a single first down. depth and a one dimensional offense helped that game get out of hand. LSU just figured it out around halftime.
-
@zalowery you're right it changed the situation for LSU. Then it changed the situation for UGA. With less than 2 minutes left in a 1 possession game, what matters more than scoring quickly??????? Also, I wouldn't take too many cheap shots at LSU 2011 because we beat the FUCK out of your sad ass dawgs.
-
@gasperoutdoors No it was sort of like that fluke win LSU had against Bama earlier this year. You know, the same team that got shutout and killed in the national championship. What does scoring quickly have to do with anything? What I said is that Uga's kicker was capable of kicking deep enough for a touchback. With a little over a minute to go from your own twenty, LSU would not be running the ball. It would be a passing situation. So you are the idiot. The penalty changed the situation.
-
@zalowery you're an idiot. can you read? we scored in 15 seconds. Y'all had 47 and did nothing at all. you had a chance and did not play as well as we did, FACT
-
@gasperoutdoors But it still would not have been the same situation. Our kicker could kick the ball into the endzone deep enough for a touchback. not even les miles would run the ball from Lsu's own twenty. The penalty was costly.

I'm a Clemson alum, but really like both UGA and LSU. I watched this game in a friend's dorm room at University of Massachusetts in my freshman year before transferring to Clemson...this remains one of the best-played games I've ever seen in my entire life.
this is the game that changed LSU football forever!
