The woman on this version singing counter melody/harmony is Amina Claudine Myers whom I first heard in Chicago playing with other members of the AACM, Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians. She is brilliant! Haven't seen her in many years now. I hope she is still making good music. I Love how they work together on this. Pepper's Pow Wow is a really good video documentary too. Very moving. I recommend highly!
