My grandfather had these on his chair in Michigan back in the early 70s this is not original

im a disabled guy in wheelchair i get tired of people saying "you need chains" "got your chains on?" i dont need chains!!!! i need a car!!!!,i noticed the tires were smooth,my tires have tread get around goos up to about less than a inch of snow,i wear rubber grip gloves cuz the hand rims get slippery when wet,rubber coated but in summer they got hot,i go home going down a hill.i hate wearing fingerless gloves.

Pretty neat. But when I lived in Fairbanks I made my own. I can put mine on in less than a minute and take them off in 10 seconds or less while sitting in the wheelchair.
