Furthermore the 'theory' was not presented by a scientist. Or a historian. Nor a person that has devoted their life's work toward the study of climate, history or the sciences. Rather Al Gore is a politician. So I'm supposed to believe a professional liar? And support the government in taking control of public businesses for the sake of a lie that takes only a little study to discover?

All anyone would have to do is read some bloody history and they'd know that the climate has cycled between periods of colder and warmer weather. There's archaeological evidence provided by the study crop changes in what is now Europe. Geological changes due to extreme climate changes. And more recent history in the form of 'climate change scares' like what happened in the 70s/80s when people we're afraid of another ice age.
