@PandemicRevelutions Actually it's true, a Mac is a PC (until recently they even used processors called "Power PC", which gives it away) and Mac OS died at 9. OS X is actually NeXTSTEP, which is a Unix and since OS X 10.5, Mac conforms to the Single Unix Specification (even BSD doesn't do that).

There's not much Mac left in a Macintosh other than the name.

Still, none of that makes them a good platform and this video is a bit naff too, though accurate.

Pommes1983 is right. Chrome OS has no relation to Mac OS (or the FOSS BSDs/Mach as does Mac OS X) and runs on the Linux kernel (with no relation to GNU's Hurd); it is a semi-traditional GNU/Linux distribution which serves a less common purpose (i.e. complete cloud computing).

rofl virus free huh? give me 60 seconds with a mac, linux (chrome included), or PC and it will become a paperweight. oh and almost all modern computers can duel boot and there are many different emulators out there so saying that one OS can run another is a pointless argument.

WRONG! Chrom OS has a Linux-Kernel. So it is Linux. (Linux is just the Kernel, so you see, Chrom OS is Linux, too.)
