I had my left shoulder fixed AGAIN last week. The second time this year. Back in Feb I had it fixed the first time, then I stuffed it 3 weeks post-op (long story).

I had a subacromial decompression/acromioplasty. It has come up brilliantly! Didn't even need a disprin and I pretty much have full range of movement after a week!

With acromioplasty, surgeons shave part of the acromion bone on the point of the shoulder. A ligament over the top of the shoulder is cut, and injured tissues are removed.

My surgeon cleaned up some more bone spurs and crap in my shoulder and from what I understand he also hacked back the end of my left clavicle (collarbone) to make a lot more space for my supraspinatus (rotator cuff) to slide through.

He also tidied up my supraspinatus a bit. I had some minor fraying of the tendon here as well from what I stupidly did back in Feb).
