Gameplay footage of an unreleased XBOX game Fist Firehead

The game is absolutely terrible. You will see me struggling with the camera and controls on more than one occasion throughout the video - it just doesn't stay pointing in one direction, but wobbles around. Every enemy in the game can soak up lots and lots of damage, while your guy goes down in just a few shots.
The game has more levels than I could show in a 10-minute clip... but you get the idea.

Was it just left to die, never to even be sold once? There must have been many people involved in the development of the game and its all gone to waste? Why didn't they just release it for PC?!!?! Even if they sold it for £10 or so its still a profit! Just all sounds a bit stupid to me.

It was flat out rejected by Microsoft as an xbox release candidate on grounds of it being irredeemably terrible, something Microsoft almost never does. It was subsequently dropped by the publisher and went into obscurity, only to resurface two years later with slightly improved visuals, but the same terrible controls and lack of balance (I don't have that version, but it wasn't THAT much better). Who knows - maybe Beenox will finish it one day and release it on Wii or XBLA or something.

Nope, I was not a coder, and unfortunately had very little involvement with the project. The reason I posted this is because it's a shame to see any unreleased games to be completely forgotten. This one could actually become kind of cool (in a completely generic and somewhat misguided kind of way), but Beenox has pretty much disowned the project...
