  • not familiar with "tell me" , but he's done some great tunes. saw Jarreau live awhile ago. 2 keyboards and his great voice. have you heard the Larry Carlton and Robben Ford or Carlton and Lukather ? just caught Carlton and Ford live, great show...

  • You've got great taste! Michael Paulo is very talented. (My favorite Michael Paulo  tune is "Forever" from his Midnight Passion cd.)

  • He is, indeed, "The Man".

    I like this version, because it sounds so close to his original recording.

    I remember seeing him in concert a few years back, and being slightly disappointed, that he had changed too many of his 'original' versions -- when performing live. I wanted to shout "Al, just BE Al!" But I respect his talent too much -- I would never interfere with a live performance.

    Bobby Caldwell (who wrote this), also does an excellent version of this "live", with lots of sax.
