Karuko Commercial (CP)

BAAAAAARGH. This took an hour to upload, not to make, to upload, because of file sizes and quality and AARGH. But on the plus size, I think I now have a file type that works for me, so you won't expect any more of this insanity!

*sighs a great sigh of relief*

So while I wait for the stills to actually load, I might as well talk about Kaluko/Karuko.

Kaluko was first created as a fictional soft drink in 2003, as a way of getting around using Pepsi or Coke in anything SOSI-related. The name "Kaluko," as you can see, has been around for a few good years. However, recent research has yielded results that prove that Kaluko isn't probably the best word to use.

So how to pronounce it? The Japanese way still is preferred, or the HyperSong way is the way it is pronounced in the commercial. You can also pronounce Karuko with a hard R, as the alternate spelling dictates. It can be spelled either Karuko, Kaluko, or カルコ　but for obvious reasons Karuko is now the official spelling for HyperSong.

So why is this commercial here? Well, many production studios on YouTube are uploading animes and openings and endings and...eyecatches. And I was watching a friend's eyecatch the other day and I thought, gee, wouldn't it be great to have something to fill that spot, instead of just having an eyecatch? Well, now you've got that thing. If you email me, I will lease this Karuko spot (and others that are currently in the making) so that you can insert them into your own show, therefore making commercials. Ta-dah! Well...of course, that's only if you want it. And don't worry; I know Karuko will get repetitive, but SOSI has other knock-off brand names as well, so we'll have OTCA characters endorsing things all over the place.

Anyway...the short version of all that is this is the first spot. Enjoy.

Totally up to you. That's what they're here for. (I'm making more, btw.) Why have eyecatches on YouTube and not have commercials? Unless you want it to seem like it's on DVD, and to me, YouTube is more of a TV channel than a DVD release...I'm ranting. Let me know if you need a .MP4.
