Federer's backhand will have to be more powerful if he wants to get far in the French.
As for good form, he lost to Qasquest of the 3rd round of Rome International.
Djokovic is on fire partially because he is great of both wings - forehand and backhand. Nadal likes to run around around the ball and hit his forehand, opening up the court for the opponent. Federer's backhand is too weak.
