@laptoplover2 good point, in terms of Apple having their computers in many different markets would open up sales.

@missAUDACITY I feel your pain, I do not know what I would do if I did not live close to an Apple store! :(

I know this is an old video, but I really hope they DO get around to making it so people can purchase the computers from Walmart at SOME poiny. I'm from the suburbs, and the closest Apple Store to me is an hour's drive away-- because there's not a SINGLE store in my ENTIRE state. (WV) It's maddening! >:(

Well it really would be a good idea for apple to be selling their apple computers at Wal-mart since there are so many and if like they're going to make a custom notebook just for selling at walmart like a netbook, maybe the MacBook Mini then apple would really get more popular then...

You know you can buy mac's at best buys' and fry's.
But I do agree.
I just had to put that out there :)
I agree. When I first got my macbook pro, my dad told me he was gunna drive me to BestBuy. But I really wanted to go to the Apple store instead and he took me there. I agree. Mac's are much better than PC's.

Todd! I missed ya bud! Where have you been? Anyway, imagine how quickly the apples will be trashed when wal-mart starts to sell macs. The ones on display will be kernal panicing, will probably be in very bad condition and giving the computers and the company a very bad name for what the haters do to the displays. And the employees don't care. So why should Apple?

Apple will not make sub products, even for Wal-Mart. It's not their ideaology. They stayed out of the Netbook craze because netbooks are junk. I think Apple's only logic is in the following question, "How good are the sales on Wal-Mart Flat Screen Televisions?"
Then Apple will see that consumers who don't mind spending $1k or $2k, then they are good candidates to buy quality Apple products that can play their movies and more. Strange move, this is, for Apple. But nothing is impossible.

@droadtrip I agree, good points. I never want to walk into a Wal-mart and see an Apple computer!
