  • He had quite a tragic life losing his wife and 2 sons in a car accident and fire. He was said to be a humble and good man. Not too many like him around nowadays..

  • He still is with us in our hearts!

not so much. Wife Claudette (like the song he wrote for her), killed in a motorcycle crash. Roy also wrote a song called "Pretty Woman", for Claudette. You may want to speak of what you know before you talk.

  • Roy is better than all the foster the children wanna be groups can ever be

  • Roy sounds in such good form and voice! Such a shame we lost him too soon afterwards......Roy was a talent amongsts talents. He had alot tragedy to deal with in his life, and will could all take a lesson from classy way Roy handled everything; good and bad. Roy you are missed to this day!

  • Gee that was 88! David Letterman didn't look much different at then.

  • My guess is that this was within a week or two of his passing.
