why are some of you people coming on here spreading so much lies and rumours?
we had a finacial meltdown in the nineties because like the usa and other countries we operate a free market system.our banks were slightly regualated and they were basically doing as they pleased.
the government stepped in to and saved the jamaican economy and some of those thieving bankers are now hiding in the usa and refusing to return and answer questions .
pj is by far our greatest prime minister..

He conveniently forgot to mention the collapse of the 90s that wiped out all of the banks, financial and other business interests of the local entrepreneurs who had re-established themselves in the 80s, after the equally corrupt Michael Manley Government of the 70s ran them out of the country and laid waste to the Economy of Island.
