more nice work. it makes me think i can communicate ideas yet still use realism. we are told at college realism is no good.

(but i dont think so lol- ill continue with realism at home)

Hi! Gary Reef sent me to you. I am really interested in this one. You do a very detailed drawing - in graphite? then colour lightly with watercolour? and then do you add pastel over this? I am trying to learn to use all three media better, but so far I haven't mixed them in one painting - but rather do several versions of the same image. Could you explain a bit more about your technique? Maybe you could look at my work and comment?
