Ah, I remember being an Iksar and sneaking into the overthere to get on that ship.And then having to be scared shitless on the mainland because you were KOS by every other race.

I've played any MMOs since then, but this is the one I still have the strongest and fondest memories of, and it's the oldest.

AHHH, i remember my very first day playing EQ, i jumped on the ship with my lvl1-2 character and was beaten to death by an invisible "Madman" on the ship. I didnt use the ship for quite a while. Turned out it was a bug after i talked to other players, I thought invisible "madmen" that beat the crap out of you on ships weere part of the game..lol

This almost brings tears to my eyes. I started an Erudite Mage long before Iksars and Kunark existed. It was the classic world. This brings me back to an old Psychology college course that says that memories are never actually lost, we just lose the paths. Things I have not remembered in 12 years are coming back to me like a waterfall. It's amazing what music can do!
