We just got back from the first trip in our 2011 Summer Coaster tour. This time we went to Ohio's King's Island. King's Island is the home of the world famous "The Beast" which is the largest wooden coaster rolling. This was the first time my son got to hit the coasters with me so it was a special time.

I will never forget the first time cresting that hill and thinking that hole looked so small! what an awesome ride! It has to be one of the best classic wood coasters of all time.

I've seen too many vids with cell cameras and this looks like one of them. But the Beast exceeds the capability of your IS camcorder. Okay. I accept that because when I run with my cam. it also has excessive jitter. Technology is only so good. I should have known that! hnobleh

@GREY1551 It was! Even though the temperature reached 100 degrees that day we had a blast. It was the middle of the week after the holiday weekend so the longest line we waited in all day was less than 5 minutes.

@hnobleh haha...you have obviously never ridden the beast. That camera does have video stabilization. Granted it is not the best. It is just a Flip Video...but King's Island's new strict policy on filming makes a small and easy to hide camera a must. We got to see two different sets of kids ejected that day for filming. :)
The Beast is known to be one of the roughest rides in the country. In fact it's predecessor, The Son of the Beast had to be shut down recently for being too rough.
