They say that Blue Rodeo is the Canadian Beatles. Listening to this cover and everything else that they themseves have written..I'm inclined to agree. What a fantastic band!

I love this version, thank you for posting it since I had never heard of Blue Rodeo.
This song has been covered by so many people and everyone puts their own spin on it, thats what makes a song great and I am sure that can be only pleasing for the songwriter. Crystal Gayle had a number one hit with this song and of course one of my favorite singers Waylon also covered this song. But I have to admit this is my favorite cover, so thank you again for posting!

I haven't heard of Blue Rodeo either but I really like their version of this! Just came across it today so I'll have to agree that it was a pleasant surprise:-)

a great song but have to say the man who wrote the song rodney crowell sings it the best.. why did these guys make such a mess of the guitar solo?? and its way to fast but other than that not a bad effort...

@robyn6cp lol more hits on blue rodeo than this rodney guy.i never heard of him till you brought it up. maybe people will look him up since i put this video on. .
