This is a good documentary but I just cannot stand the freakin British pompness of those being interviewed, nothing against Brits, but these wankers are freakin annoying.

Is the plastic cups, bag tags so important for these pathetic, miserable ass shagging faggots, well piss off you all useless perverts.

@Foxx1981 Thats rubbish, big Russian airlines like Aeroflot are just as safe as western ones. Just some small ones are not so safe, but still safer than many low cost carriers in Indonesia for example, and surely safer than car traffic.
-
@usivio980 Well 767-200ER has longer range than 767-300. I think that they fly to Cuba with -300, so should be no problem.
And they have ordered 777.

Russian airline industry safety is NOT 40 times worse than the US
-
@Foxx1981 you don't know what you're talking about, you're a joke
-
No matter how bad things are here in the US with the industry, it will never get this bad.... but that's freaking awesome that the guy paid the captain to drop him off at another airport.
Cool.

I think the fact that Brit and Jew bribed the Russian pilot to... make the fucking "Sabbath"?... reflects far worse on the Brit and the Jew than the underpaid Russian pilot faced with a religious zealot and his impotent Limey assisstant.
-
@BenAustria I don't think that's the point he was trying to make. I think he was giving an example to illustrate the huge difference in worker culture between the East and West.
-
I found the commentators very arrogant too. I mean at university I have to bear those posh guys who grow up to be the son of somebody important, but does one really need their opinion on russian airtravel?
Oh I can afford to bribe the Captain look how important I am!
-
Things are different nowadays in Russia, at least in a big companies like Aeroflot!
And those cocks commentators are arrogant twats! ...no offence)
I worked for aeroflot as a pilot for 12 years. Everything in this movie is true. Corruption is terrible. We had people standing in the cockpit during flights when they paid crew cash for a ride without a ticket.
Russian pilots think that they are the best in the world and that the rest of the world just flies on automation all the time. Older pilots curse western airplanes because of their weak English.
The truth is Russian airline industry safety is about 40 time worse then that of the US.

@Outsourcingfighter Was this during the soviet era or after the fall? After the fall I believe that all is true.

You know about the paying the captain to make an emergency landing in Sheremetyevo... Was that such a bad thing???
MEATYOKERRable 1 year ago
@MEATYOKERRable At the time, russia was a husk of what it was, so there was most likely little enforcement of any law, and the pilots were underpaid, so I think it was great for him to get a 2000USD bonus just for landing an IL-86 at SVO instead of DME, both in moscow.
