BFhorse1 - you need to stop being so critical of a world champion horse and rider pair - were you competing at the WEG?? Were you at the Olympics? I think this pair is a beautiful example of harmony between a horse and rider and Steffen does a great job and so does Ravel. I just wish people would stop criticizing these rider/horse pairs...they must be doing something right if they are world champions!

I was there - this, Fuego xii and Totilas were the most amazing performances!

Ravel looks like he's generally enjoying it, and he looks almost as if he's floating on air. I love it.

@BFhorse1 First off some horses swish there tails to keep rythm.I barrel race and I hang strings of beads and bells off the horses manes. It is not for decoration but instead every beat a they take it rings and the horse seems to rely on that "ring" to stay in a fast pace. And second If you took that horse out of the ring it would most likely be very stressful on him cause to him that is his natural surroundings.

@BFhorse1 I'm sorry- Are you in the WEG? Are you trained by Klaus Balkenhol? Are you kicking Anky Van Grunsenven's ass in every possible way? If you answered no to any of these questions, you're not as amazing as Steffen Peters. Ravel's hind legs ARE pushing and he IS working over his back. he's very relaxed. Ravel loves his life, how about you get one?

@BFhorse1 I can tell you from experience that Ravel is most relaxed in the dressage ring. I'm doing an internship at Steffen Peters dressage training facility, I work with Ravel's groom.. Ravel almost never relaxes anywhere but the dressage ring! This is an incredible ride!

BFhorse1 do you realise you cant compete in these events unless you have enough presteige points, and do you know how you get them by winning. So if he is a bad rider or a bad and not relaxed enough horse how did he have enough presteige points to qualify. They dont just go around picking riders of the street!

@pegasus1747 I found the final scoring for the rides for you. The are on the Alltech FEI WEG 2010 website. Do a google search, click on the official website and find the Dressage Results page on the right hand side of the screen. You can view all of the results for every event.

Click on the "Individual Results" to DL a PDF file of all the scores from the freestyle rides =)

@browne8 Yes, It is certainly above average in difficulty; a point which, played out in their favor in Aachen; I never aws final scoring for these rides; is it available somewhere?
