sometimes it's harder to play a piece more slowly.

Outstanding. I bought a CD at Goodwill for a dollar. It was Spanish classical guitar. The performer was Pepe Romero. I bought it on a chance it would be cool. It is AWESOME! This song is my favorite one on it. And this performance is very close to the one on the CD. Almost identicle. I love playing Bach....well the way Paul Gilbert does. But my hands are too small to play this kind of classical guitar. This is beautiful though. Keep playing everyone :)

This piece by Sor in my opinion really tests the guitarist to the full and it was really nice to hear this rendering by Andrea Dieci. The guitar here has also a fine tone to it and this is brought out very well by the use of his right hand technique.A very worthy performance indeed and a pleasure to listen to...Greetings from Ireland.

@Pitcairn2 indeed, this is an interpretation, as the point of the piece has always been.

Wow, never would have thought to play it like that, and I really enjoyed it. I guess that's the danger in letting everyone else tell a person how something should be done. Thanks for opening my eyes a bit more!

thank you murtsworld, I am so sick of people slamming amazing performances for not adhering to their personal tastes. Who makes anyone an authority anyways? Awesome piece, keep it up!

@classicvinylbiz , I wish people would stop suggesting that we listen to Parkening. I would rather listen to more interesting guitarists like Dieci. I don't think Parkening was ever particularly popular outside of the USA. Is it a 'born again christian' thing? People don’t constantly post comments that encourage us to listen to Williams or other guitarists of far greater standing. You go and listen to your beloved Parkening, a man who once gave up the guitar in favour of fly fishing!
