What kind of brakes does the Highlander come with (or are yours modified for the big bushwheels)-- They seem very effective!

They come with Matco brakes. I am very happy with mine. When I put the 29" tires on I added another caliper because I rely so much on having great brakes for the way I fly. The Highlander has a heavy tail which lets me brake super hard with less chance of nosing over compared to most taildraggers. The Matco brakes work well, last a long time and don't cost a lot to put new pads on when they eventually do wear down.
