This self defense tip against a grab gives you the chance to play with the concept of multiple planes of movement. With three planes to move in you can usually use use one or two to gain advantage over an attacker. In this example the attacker is strongest in the front to back or sagittal plane. So we can manipulate the side to side(frontal plane) and/or the rotational(transverse plane). Enjoy and train well.
