Well, its a long shot and would certainly have been impossible, but I like to do 5 impossible things before breakfast...
Its 2010, Sylvester McCoy has been the Doctor for a long 23 years, the longest tenure ever for an actor to play the role, the titles may not have changed much, but the theme has...
Although impossible, it is interesting to wonder what would have happened if Doctor Who was never cancelled, what would have happened to our beloved 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th Doctors? Who would portray them? What would have happened to Doctor Who?
Enjoy!
It's ironic really, Sylv was only going to do one more season, JNT twisted his arm to stay on, when he really wanted to leave at the end of season 26. But with the long gap between Survival and the TVM, it did inadvertently make Sylv the longest serving Doctor at 9 years. Shame the BBC (Worldwide) didn't want to play ball and then screwed up all the reigning dates, not just Sylv's. It was always from the Doctor's first screen appearance to last, regardless if it was the next one in a wig!

You wud not have believed how bad relationships between the cast were in the final season. JNT was loosing power. Hense te Cartmel Masterplan was to take it to a dark place. I cant understand why they would suggest that the Dr was some sort of God, when in actual fact his "Secret" that he Guarded with his life was that he had an Evil inside of him that would have to come out to fight both Fenric & the Celestial Toymaker in the Final Story of Sylvester. U cant kill him, but you CAN take his power
