I notice on the show last year she was always leaving or going out of town was because of the drinking. Was she fired from the show because of that. And Ashanti is on the show I guess when you don't make records the next step is acting.

years ago when she played an alcoholic on NYPD Blue i could tell she really was a drinker, being very familiar with the whole drinking deal myself, often you can just tell even though i think she was sober most of the time on the set. and, for all you youngsters out there, back then it was pretty difficult to get much info on celebrities.
