Hi Wil sometime in the future next year when the better weather comes i would like to arrange going portable QRP and if we arrange a time to try meet on 14.285 and see if we can work each other QRP.

Ok thanks yep it seems to be right now, before i had mic gain and comp higher and it was too much - 6 on gain and 50% comp is about right i think, damn this is a great little radio aint it am really impressed and what a receive i thought the yaesu was good unbtil i used this little beauty :-) i will keep listening for ya Q.R.P maybe one day, keep trying the Q.R.P main centre frequencies u never know.

Hi Will the 897d is now gone and i have the 703 plus :-) -- what settings do you use for the 703 have set mine at mic gain number 6 and processor at 50% do you think this is about right thanks. M3VZQ.
