  • did you say that was a 10.5" barrel ? Have you shot a 7" barrel AR pistol ? I wonder if the muzzel flash would be too close to your face with a 7" barrel compared to a 10.5".

    Great video, thanks.

  • @kd757t The barrel length is 10.5 inches but the Noveske flash hider makes it around 12.5 inches. I have never shot a 7 inch barrel but I have heard good things about them and depending on you flash hider / muzzle break I think you'd be just fine with muzzle blast not really affecting you. I bought the 10.5 inch because I wanted a little more control over the gun. Thanks for the post appreciate it.

  • It would classify the gun as a AOW or Any Other Weapon which you have to get a tax stamp for. In my opinion its really not worth the 200 bucks to put the fore grip on there because the gun is very well balanced and you should be able to control it just as good with a magwell grip. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Does the grip at the bottom of your AR make the AR pistol an SBR?

    Thanks!!

  • Is that a standard 7" buffer tube? And, does it get uncomfortable to tuck that in your shoulder after a lot of rounds?

  • @philmordenrunandgun tax stamp for an aow is $5.

  • a couple of new developments for "pistol" ARs

1 the caa cheek rest for the buffer tube is GOOD TO GO!!! decision in 2011

2 it is ok to put a walking cane rubber end on the buffer

3 if your "pistol" is LONGER than 26" and is not concealed on your person and does NOT have a butstock than it is not a "rifle" nor a "pistol" nor is it an AOW it is a "firearm" and you can put a vertical for grip on it

  • @SpiritOffAdventure22 sadly a bit wrong mate . The tax to TRANSFER and existing A.O.W. is $5.00 , the tax to put a forward grip on an ar 15 or othter rifle which is construed by the BATFE as MAKING an A.O.W. is still $200.00.

one has to be very careful when reading governmental laws, the chance for misinterpretation is massive.

  • @philmordenrunandgun Hello, I have done some research and the tax stamp for a aow is actually $5 dollars.

  • Who's beard would win in a fight? Phil's or Chris Costa's?

  • I should have finished watching the video before my post LOL.

  • How do you like that C More? I am doing my first build and am thinking about getting one. I plan on doing three gun. Now on my second build I will do an AR Pistol for my vehicle.

  • Great info, thanks for posting!
