You said that the first part was the "old South Africa" and the second part was the "new South Africa with BEE". That's not true. This advert takes place entirely in the new South Africa, and is making fun of the fact that so-called BEE companies put on a "White face" for White customers and a "Black face" for Black customers. The whole point is to poke fun at "Black Economic Empowerment".

No, you idiot, you completely missed the point of the advert. For White customers, the company present themselves as a White-owned, Afrikaans business. For Black customers, they switch and become a Black-owned business. It's making fun of Black Economic Empowerment.
