HAHA. Is that a real commercial? If it is, the NHL just absolutely smoked Hossa in the groin and then kicked him in the teeth when he bent forward in pain.
The bigger problem I have with the whole thing is Hossa and his agent really strung the Pens out until the very end when we could have made offers to other high quality players instead. Granted Satan and Fedetenko proved adequate enough to eventually win the cup, but still it really put the team and Shero in a tough situation to start the season.
Could you imagine a Hawks/Pens final with Hossa coming out on the short end again? At that point, would he retire, or hang himself?
I think this trade thing for hossa is one of those "carreer defining mistakes" :D There is no reason for it, but its just the embodyment of the word "owned" in a way.
While I respect Hossa as a player, he seems to be a jinx to whatever team he is playing for as far as winning the Cup goes. I predict a Pens-Hawks Stanley Cup Final in 2010, with the Cup coming back to Pittsburgh just like in 1992.
