This is the official music video for Begbie's new single 'Live For Today' released on Jan. 6, 2012 (digital) taken from the new album 'The Age of Golden Lies (Deluxe Edition)' released on Jan. 13, 2012 (digital). The video was directed by Matthias Fritsche - lichtempfindlich | Filmproduktion & Fotoproduktion (Tiger Lou, The Sounds).


In their new single 'Live for today', Begbie try to find out what it feels like before the questioning and doubting begins. Flying high, golden and gliding, without dread or fear, full of ease and confidence. An inspiration that catches, illustrates and retains desire and rememberance at the same time. A golden feeling, light-hearted, native and dateless, to breathe and enjoy. Coming of age or The Age of Golden Lies? Begbie ask, indulge and doubt.

'Live For Today' is a spurring song that you want to dance to from the start, but still one that pays attention to details. It has clear and spirited vocals with an inimitable characterisric depth but also shows the synthetic and warm disruption of Begbie's debut album 'The Age of Golden Lies'. The title 'Live For Today' describes the modern and critically-charming attitude that is shared, uncontrolled, everywhere and approached with impassionate fear at the same time. Critique in a pop-approach.

The single 'Live For Today' will hit the stores on the 6th January 2011 through Heartdisco Records (LC 12715; Ed. Heartdisco, Universal Music Publishing). It will also be released on the 13th January 2012 on the 'The Age of Golden Lies (Deluxe Edition)', Begbie's debut album.

This is amazing! Great lyrics, great harmony, great video! I guess we all want to go back to being a kid sometimes, because kids live for today and don´t worry about tomorrow or yesterday, its hard to keep that in mind in these modern times... and there I go all over again mentioning "times", cause there is no such thing as "time", all we have is now... thanks for reminding me!
