Die by the Sword - Chapter 6

I really can't remember any of the game clearly beyond this point since it's been years since I last played it. I was extra careful because I thought i'd remembered it being much harder than it actually turned out to be.

I find this interesting. I was always annoyed with this level in Die By The Sword because I was never able to advance to the level after this one. Think there might have been a bug or something, but don't know.

@Thorgin84 Where did you get stuck? do you remember? There's a couple things in this video like the hidden key, and the panel you need to use that could be easy to miss.

Well I am playing it again and am in the level before this so haven't been able to check yet. With hidden key do you mean the one behind the forge and with panel are you thinking of the one that you had to use to stop the water from getting to the machine? I know I got as far as blowing up the machine, but don't know if there is anything after that.

Blowing up the machine is the end of the level. you just run up the passage way where the laser was firing in order to move on.

I played it all again with and without patch. Still no advancement to the next level. I don't know what's wrong with my copy of the game. I actually found another cheap copy of the game at a local market and bought it thinking maybe it's just my copy, but neither allows me to advance. Something is seriously wrong with the copies here.

Where are you actually getting stuck? You blow up the machine and then you run up to that cave in front of it and nothing happens?

If anyone got hit by the laser and lived, there's your problem. You're not supposed to get hit by the laser. Do everything else, but do not go to the exit until the machine is destroyed.

I've managed to locate the old dusty Die by the Sword 1.04 patch so I hope it works. Another thought have popped into my head that maybe you need a certain difficulty level to advance to the last level, but I doubt it.

I know it's supposed to be the end of the level, but i've done that many, many, many times, but that doesn't work.

That's the reason I think there's a bug or there might be some ancient patch I need.
