February 12-13 SWIGZ.COM Pro Racing returned to Auto Club Speedway for wheelie control software testing. The fast lap footage is Chip playing around with Fastrack Instructor John Chen on an '09 GSX-R1000 - John slows on the back straight to let Chip pass so he can watch the electric superbike go! Best laptime of this test was 1:37.308 and top speed of 163.7mph on the front straight! Notice the high speed buffeting on the straightaway that prevents Chip from going to full throttle - the team is working to fix that now and better laptimes are coming soon!!

The cool thing about it is it doesn't seem to look like the bike wants to stand up while accelerating hard out of turns like alot of bikes do.

Cool vid Chip. You keep improving with every new day at the track. Your emc made most of the gassers look s - - l - -o - - w as you blew by them. Looking forward to seeing how much faster you can go with your bike's new gearing, fatter swing arm, fat racing slick, beefed up suspension and the new fairings. I read that you may also may be redistributing more of the batteries up front? Details?
